Hey yall!  It’s a little past due, but here’s my pick of the month for some DELISH Prosecco.  It’s going to become my new go-to … I think!

Name: Luna d’Or Prosecco Brut

Description: From Conegliano, Italy this devilishly good Prosecco is a light sparkling Italian wine that is very delicate and fruity with a hint of ripe apples, lemons and grapefruit.  They say it’s perfect with light dishes or sushi, but let’s be real here…. I think it’s perfect with any dish – or alone.

Fresh, Grapefruit, Apple, Full-Bodied

Purchase Location & Price: Total Wine for $12.00 (750ml)

Cheers yall!! xo

Sol Fusion has exploded this last year.

Haven’t heard of them? Well, you must not get out in Charlotte too much.  This awesome band is LITERALLY everywhere.  Weddings.  Alive After 5 (yup, the crowd has grown up a little – it’s okay to try AA5 again…). Festivals.  You name it – these guys are there.

I met the band’s ‘co-creator’ {not too sure if that’s the actual / appropriate title – but work with me here} about 7+ years ago when I produced events at The Atrium/The Green/The Plaza and he was the official barkeep (among a million other things) for East Coast Entertainment and Alive After 5.  Chris McClure.  Awesome Dude.  His day job is an Agent over at East Coast Entertainment.  So, in a nutshell – he’s got this cutie-patootie wife, Hester, who just happens to have vocal chords straight from Heaven.

Thus, Sol Fusion was born.  Pretty sure it happened just like that.

OH – and you might recognize Hester from her days with the band Black & Blue.

In a nutshell – if you’re getting married & want a band, you need to hire them.  They are the jammm.  Really. They are.

Like the kind of band that will make Grandma wanna get up and bust a move.

For those of you who know me – or have seen me out and about with a drink in hand KNOW that I LOVE some yummy Prosecco.  Haven’t heard of it?  Well – you’re about to learn all about it …. Each month, I am going to do a Prosecco of the month – and share with y’all what MY new favorite is!

I have turned most of my girl friends into Prosecco LOVAS and I enjoy trying new ones as often as I can! I had a thought that I should put all of my ‘research’ to good use and share it with you! So, if you’re legal … yup: that’s’ over 21 my friend, let me know what Prosecco YOU and your girls like to sip on and share with me and I will do the same with you!

SO …. what is Prosecco you ask…?    Basically, it’s an Italian sparkling white wine.  The amazing bartenders at Soul Gastrolounge turned me on to this AHHHHMAZING nectar of the gods 5 or so years ago…

Do you mix anything with Prosecco?  Not if you’re sitting by me 😉  …. however, typically Prosecco is used to make a Bellini cocktail.  But, I prefer it straight up!  To me, it’s a better alternative to Champagne.

I literally have not met a Prosecco I don’t like … so, at the beginning of each month, check back in for my prosecco of the month …. but for all you cuties that are under 21, just jump to another post about some fabulous paper!
